Workshops

I’m very pleased to say our workshops have started again.

Come and enjoy a creative experience and meet new people, or bring family and friends, to a create-a-plate workshop.

Sitting around the table we have coffee or tea while chatting and planning our designs. Using brightly coloured on-glaze enamels, we draw, design and cut before transferring the image to the surface of the china. The results are always superb. The plates are then fired, becoming useable and dishwasher proof. They are available for collection after three days.

The sessions usually last about four hours. Minimum of three people, maximum of eight.

Keep an eye on the Events page for upcoming workshop dates. For group bookings dates and times are flexible to suit you. Ring or email me to book.

Letters of Thanks

“Thank you so much for a truly splendid day on Wednesday! We all enjoyed it SO much and it made the welcome change to have the opportunity to be creative! Your house, studio and garden are a pure delight and we all loved seeing some of Wesley’s props. A truly fantastic day.”

Tiggr

“Thank you for my beautiful plate. I am delighted with it. As ever, our afternoon creating our designer plates was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed themselves very much. You both always make it a real pleasure, even for those who are artistically challenged! We’ll be back soon.”

Meryl

“Thank you so much for our lovely day on Saturday. We all felt as though we’d been to a special party. You and Wes make us feel so comfortable and we all had such a sense of achievement thanks to your unobtrusive help and guidance especially for those of us who doubt our artistic abilities.”

Jenny

“We had a wonderful afternoon with you on Saturday. We are so pleased with our plates. We so enjoyed your company and help, seeing all the fascinating things in your special house and being invited to see the workshop. Thank you too for the tea and cake. All in all, you had thought of everything, and everything was wonderful.”

Jill

“Thank you so much for a fun day. The ‘girls’ could not stop talking about their plate experience all the way home – not to mention what they’d like to do next time! I can’t wait to see their reactions when they see their plates fired. You are both so patient and kind that my day was just lovely. Thank you.”
